MCAS El Toro Air Show 1993Fifty Years of Semper Fidelis — A 1943 F4U-1A and a 1993 F/A-18 speed past the cheering 1993 El Toro Air Show crowd in the Paul Gavin oil painting entitled "50 Years of Semper Fidelis." Prepared for the 50th Anniversary of MCAS El Toro, this image very simply personifies in these two aircraft MCAS El Toro's 50 year aviation history as well as the United States Marine Corps' service to the community and the country. The painting also represents the base as an Orange County Landmark, showing Eucalyptus trees, the foothills, "Saddleback" mountain, and the now gone water towers. * All posters are shipped First Class in heavy duty mailing tubes.
