Fiesta de Oro youth T-Shirts — for San Juan Capistrano's Swallows Day and Fiesta de las Golondrinas — now available. 
The Spirit of San Juan: A lone rider stops high above San Juan Capistrano as the sun's last rays illuminate the Mission, the San Juan Basilica and the Capistrano Valley. For different perspectives on the historic mission town, see Paul's growing collection of San Juan Capistrano art. 
This year for the first time, Paul has been asked to create the painting for the San Juan Fiesta Association's "Fiesta de las Golondrinas", Swallow's Day Parade and celebrations. This year marks the 50th year of the Swallow's Day Parade. Paul's "Fiesta de Oro" original oil painting will be auctioned off at the El Presidente Ball on March 15th at the El Adobe Restaurant in San Juan Capistrano. Canvas giclees are available and the artwork will be printed on T-shirts for the events. 
Gavin Arts has new full-page full-color ads running in local and county publications featuring our art & design and our community involvement. Look for our ads in the San Clemente Journal, the program for the Fiesta de las Golondrinas (Swallows Day) in the Orange County Register, and the new Dana Point Times. 
Andrews AFB Joint Service Open House and Fleet Week New York City: The Gavins are currently working on designs for these two upcoming 2008 shows in May. This year marks the 60th Anniversary of the "Berlin Airlift" which will be featured at Andrews' Open House / Air Show and the Gavins' design commemorates this historic event. Shirts and posters will be available soon. 
The Heart of San Clemente: Paul is adding the final details to his new 15"x30" painting, "Coastal Commute: Eastbound", a painting of pelicans flying overhead along the San Clemente shoreline with the sunset glow illuminating their wings. 
Paul continues to paint in the Ojai Valley and the Santa Paula region in Ventura County, California where half his youth was spent on his grandparents ranch riding horses, rounding up cattle, building fences and learning to drive tractors and his future 1951 Ford pick-up. He went to Ojai's Thacher School his high junior and senior years.

Paul and Kimberleigh's ongoing support of the Marine Corps is seen in Kimberleigh's new 2008 Friendship Day design for MCAS Iwakuni, Japan. 
Uncommon valor of the United States Marine Corps is portrayed in Semper Fidelis Reflections: Marine Monument at San Clemente in the city's Park Semper Fi. Special pricing for military and families. 
They also produced, with guidance from San Clemente local Phil Tessier, owner of Creations Unlimited, the World's Largest USMC Emblem: a 40 foot diameter Eagle, Globe & Anchor painted on the back wall of the MCAS Miramar Theater. |
